What is Veggie Con?

This is the first annual community event involving all things fruit and vegetable. The goal of Veggie Con is simple. Bring together local farmers, healthy focused businesses, and the community to raise awareness of the benefits of eating more produce. We’ve invited Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Farmers to have booths to sell shares for the upcoming season, wellness coaches, and other exhibitors who will be providing samples or selling products on site, promoting their services, or recruiting volunteers for other local events.

Veggie Con will also include a lot of fun activities for kids of all ages! There will be “Couch Potato” racing, a corn hole tournament, potato sack races, bobbing for apples, orange bowling, and more to get people up and moving. Face painting and temporary tattoos will be available. We are so excited to offer this event in Southeast Kent County to spread the love of all things veggie and have a lot of fun while doing it. We think it will be a veggie good time!
